A belated Happy New Year to each and every one of you, 2012 is shaping up to be the most prosperous of the past years, with a decrease in *Florida unemployment rate of 9.9% currently, compared to 12.0% December 2010.The job market is promising, with hopes of attaining our dream job or to some be able to feed and clothe the family. Either way it’s nice to know there’s hope once again, I’m so proud of our President!
2011 was a year of awareness for me. I think I finally grew up through the beginning of this decade with some dynamic lifestyle changes; I began to see the world from a different prospective. I must say you never see life until your eyes are open, I dream more, smile often and live positive. My new motto is LOVE, JOY, PEACE, and UNITY. Love first which brings joy and peace, then unify to enjoy the fullness of life and one another.
Carib United FC Soccer Team (Carib) finished 3rd in the 2011 CASA regular season standing; a huge mile stone as their 3rd year in the Caribbean Americas Soccer Association (CASA) Super League. With that positive note, the club has grown as a result of having a successful team and wonderful professional coaches.
Since 2009 our rocodeer iChannel grew to over 78,000 video viewers as a result of some exciting video clips of weekly games in competitive community leagues and sports tournaments. Be sure to view videos of the South Florida 3rd Annual Jamaica High School Alumni Soccer & Netball Tournament (JHSASN). This event has gone international, as live broadcast of the 2011 event was aired on Jamaica most famous radio station and web page Ire FM, allowing the fans at home an opportunity to share in the South Florida excitement. Can’t wait for this Labor Day Weekend September 2nd & 3rd, 2012!
I don’t know about you but life is short and I’m ready for mine now! The other day while I was walking down Las Olas River Front while on my lunch break, I began to dream of the day I sit back and see my dreams become reality. I smiled all the way back to the office. WOW. I love life, and as I say on my Facebook page I Love Me (Smile).
